Persica roses are one of the greatest innovations in garden rose cultivation during the past 50 years. Originating from the deserts and steppes of Iran and Afghanistan, it was only in the 60s that the breeders Jack Harkness from England and the Scottish Alec Cocker began to create hybrids of Hulthemia Persica, and only after decades of hard work of many other worldwide breeders it was possible to achieve a range of healthy, reblooming, hardy and resistant rose varieties, all having as a common feature the dark blotch in the center of the petals that grow wide open on a small bloom with a diameter of 4-6 cm. On our website it is possible to find a wide range of these peculiar and charming rose varieties, able to give an exotic and original touch to any garden.
