The hybridizer Meilland named this rose after the top model and actress Laetitia Casta, that the French consider as the Marianne of our time: a symbol of the Republic. The bloom has the same beauty of its godmother: a classic rose form with 25-30 petals that open slowly displaying a cream-white colour that fades gently towards the edges.

The plant grows to a height of between 70 and 130 cm, with a healthy, dark green and semi-glossy foliage. Excellent disease-resistance. The large flowers (11 cm in diameter) exhale a sweet and very fresh tea scent and the rose has already achieved 6 awards (in Baden-Baden, Geneve, Le Roeulx and Monza), a guarantee of outstanding qualities.
