The Roseraie de l'Haÿ rose has been selected by Gravereaux in 1901 (introduced the same year in France by Cochet); it's a beautiful crimson rugosa rose with blooms that are large, double, 11 cm in diameter, flat and filled with 30 strong scented petals and well displayed stamens. A vigorous and dense bush with a nice light green foliage; grows to a height of 250 cm and spreads up to 250 cm. Highly disease-resistant; doesn't always bloom. It has been awarded with the RHS Award of Garden Merit.
