Tango® - Strecht Johnson

A semi-double, flat bloom with a diameter of 10 cm, composed of approximately 16 red-orange petals with a white border. The flowers grow in small clusters, are reblooming, and have a light fragrance. The plant reaches up to 90 cm in height, with dense, upright branching and very few thorns. It has healthy, large, semi-glossy foliage in a bronze-green hue.
Bred by McGredy in 1983, this rose won numerous awards in the late 1980s and early 1990s, including gold medals at The Hague rose competition in 1993 and the Royal National Rose Society (RNRS) competition in 1988. It was also named "Stretch Johnson" in honor of Floyd "Stretch" Johnson, one of the founders of the Milwaukee Rose Society.
Stretch Johnson played a crucial role in preserving Old Garden Roses.
