Large, double, cup-shaped, centered flower, 10 cm in diameter, filled with 35 turbinated dark red velvety petals, very fragrant. The plant is strong, healthy, grows upright, well-branched up to 100cm in height by 60 cm of width. Reblooming, it has has broad, glossy, dark green foliage. Selected by Adam and introduced by Nirp in 1991, it has received the gold medal, the award for the most beautiful rose of France in Lyon and the international perfume prize in Nantes. Ideal for cutting, it is part of the NIRPARFUM® collection; it is also known by the name of Commandant Cousteau, Grand Huit, Lasting Love.
