Mariangela Melato – Baie des Anges ® BARmel

Very double, cup-shaped flower, 11 cm in diameter, composed of about 40 petals spiraled at the center, cream-colored with shades of pink, light green, and blush pink.

The flower is long-lasting, tolerates heat well, and is suitable for cutting.

The fragrance is intense. Repeat-flowering, it grows in a bushy habit up to 100 cm in height and 60 cm in width. Dark green foliage with good disease resistance.

Selected by Beatrice Barni, it has won several awards: in 2013 the Journalists’ Prize at the International Rose Competition of Monza; in 2014 the Gold Medal at the International Rose Competition of Baden-Baden; and in 2021 the Silver Medal at the Australian National Rose Trial.
