The blooms of this rose are crimson, small, 3 cm in diameter, double, with a rosette form and filled with 39 petals wrinkled at the edges. Grows vigorous and bushy to a height of 120-150 cm with a velvet, glossy green foliage. Extremely disease- resistant and very thorny, attracts insect pollinators and can be cultivated as a climber. Discovered by De Goey in 1918.
