Part of the Frühling series of roses by Kordes, this hybrid of Spinosissima was born in 1942 and is an atypical Scottish rose. It flaunts an early bloom in Spring, when it is filled with clusters of large, simple flowers. The petals are shaded from creamy yellow at the base to cherry pink at the edge, with the tuft of brown-red stamens well in evidence. The plant has a vigorous growth and is excellent for hedges, considering the size it can reach. Very decorative foliage in autumn thanks to the pleasant coloring. The scent is delicate during the abundant spring flowering, which is repeated in flashes during the vegetative period.
