The bloom is simple, flat, large, with 4-6 light pink petals and highly visible yellow stamens. In the blooming season it attracts many insect pollinators; it has a delicate fragrance but will bloom only once, if the rose hips that it produces after the flowers have fallen are not removed. It will grow as a dense and arched bush to a height and spread of 200-250 cm; it has a medium disease-resistance and is shade-tolerant. A variety discovered in 1814.
