Celestial - Céleste -Minden Rose– Rosa erubescens Andr.
Beautiful old Alba hybrid rose popular for centuries; it has semi-double, cupped flowers, with a diameter of 7.5-10 cm, filled with 17-25 pure pink petals with golden stamens; the fragrance is strong; the blooms are borne in 3-5 per branch.
It grows as an orderly, roundish bush, which can even reach 150-200 cm in height and 125 cm in width.
It has grey-green foliage; it has good disease resistance, it is not re-flowering but tolerates shade.
It appears to have been bred in the Netherlands around 1739
