Delicate bright pink buds open up in cupped, very full (75-80 petals) and compact corollas that are painted with a peculiar bengala pink. Named after the great man from Florence that among other things has also been court painter in France to King Francis I. This rose grows to a height of 70-110 cm, it's a repeat-flowering with medium sized blooms (8 cm in diameter) displayed in groups of up to 6 per stem. The foliage is glossy green and the plant is tolerant to rain and bad weather. The fragrance is sweet. It's quite suitable to create bushes and borders and has achieved a gold Medal in Monza.
