René Goscinny® Meifrypon

A rose created by Meilland in 2012 and winner of the Gold Rose in Geneve, this Grandiflora has a bloom of 13 cm in diameter, double, cupped and filled with 80-90 old-fashioned petals that have an orange-yellow colour brushed with crimson; the fragrance is strong and fruity. The glossy dark green foliage makes a marvelous backdrop to the large reblooming flowers that are also excellent for cutting; a bushy and disease-resistant plant that grows to a height of 60-80 cm and spreads up to 50 cm. It has been dedicated to the French comics editor and writer, creator of Lucky Luke and, with Uderzo, Asterix.
