One of the oldest roses that have survived to the present day (presumably it was already known in Roman times), is often found in ancient gardens, very resistant. The feathered buds open into very double, very fragrant flowers; initially slightly pinkish they turn creamy white with golden stamens. Vigorous, it grows informal into a bush that grows up to 180 cm in height and spreads up to 120-150 cm. In spring the branches covered with flowers curve. It does not repeat flowering.
