Selected by Jean Pierre Vibert before 1837, this Damascena rose has pink blooms with paler edges, flat, full (40 petals), 8 cm in diameter and with an intense fragrance. Recommended by David Austin it had also achieved a Garden of Merit Award by the RHS (Royal Horticultural Society); grows strong, vigorous and well-branched to a height of 150 cm and a width of 100-120 cm but is also suitable to be pot-grown. A once-blooming but generous variety.
