Sunstar ® - Gabriele Gebauer® - Strikes Gold KORsteimm

Double, cupped, romantic flowers displayed in small clusters, 10 cm in diameter, composed of 35-40 delicately scented light yellow petals. Re-flowering and resistant to diseases, it grows compact, well bushy, erect up to 80 cm in height and 50 cm in width. The foliage is glossy medium green, suitable for growing in pots and for cutting.

Selected by Kordes in 1997, it was introduced in Germany in 2007 under the name of Sunstar, and as Strikes Gold in England. Its qualities have allowed this rose to win several international prizes: 2006 Bronze Medal at the Monza competition; 2007 the prestigious ADR recognition; 2009 Silver Medal in Kortrijk and Rose Title Winner of the Dublin competition; 2010 Gold Standard at the Gold Stansard Rose Trials competition; 2011 Winner of the Grand Prix de la Rose SndHF in France and Silver Medal in Glasgow.
