Friendly Purple® - Purple Meicosme
Simple flower, diameter 5-6 cm, displayed in 3-25 per branch, is adorned with 5 fuchsia pink petals and a white center and golden yellow visible stamens.
Re-flowering until the first frosts, it is very resistant to disease, in fact it requires little intervention against the adversities of the roses.
The pollen-rich flowers attract bees, bumblebees and other pollinating insects while the vermilion-red rose hips attract birds in cold seasons.
A hardy rose that grows well branched and rounded up to 80-100 cm in height and 70-80 cm in width; the branches are slightly thorny; the foliage is healthy, dense and with a glossy dark green color; it is also suitable for cultivation in pots on balconies and terraces.
A New Entry for 2021 by Meilland Richardier, it has obtained the ADR certificate (Anerkannte Deutsche Rose) which is considered to be the most difficult to obtain and the roses that can boast it are among the most resistant in the world.
For this rose, the challenge consists of a series of tests based on around fifteen criteria (resistance to frost, disease, re-flowering, etc.). The observations are made and recorded for 3-4 years in 11 different gardens.
