The Scarlet Meilland is one of the most vigorous roses of Meilland; this variety has small, ruffled, double blooms (3 cm in diameter) of a cherry-red colour and a petal count of 25. It is a very hardy rose with a glossy foliage that are highly disease-resistant; grows well-branched to a height of 140 cm and a width of 150 cm. Tolerates semi-shaded areas.
