A graceful and dense bush that grows up to 100-150 cm and spreads to 90 cm with bunches of small blooms (3 cm) that are simple, red, with a white center, slightly scented and with a petal count of 5. Repeat-flowering and healthy, its foliage is light green and glossy, tolerates semi-shaded areas and can be pot grown. It has been selected by Harkness in 1978 and has achieved a Gold Medal at the Baden Baden trials in 1979, the ADR in 1980 and the Award of Garden Merit of the RHS in 2001.
