Crown Princess Margareta ® Auswinter

A fascinating old style rose with large blooms, 10 cm in diameter, in the rosette form and with nearly 120 petals of an enchanting apricot-orange colour. Grows tall and slightly arched to a height of 120 cm, but properly pruned can be used as a climber reaching a height of 200 cm and a width of 120 cm. It's a lush variety that thrives even under not ideal weather conditions and it has a strong disease-resistance. Out of curiosity, the Princess Margareta of Sweden was the niece of Queen Victoria, and with king Gustaf VI Adolf of Sweden, designed and built the famous Summer Palace of Sofiero in Helsinborg.
