The Heathcliff is an English rose selected by David Austin in 2012, it has a deep crimson colour and an Old Rose charm; the blooms are large, double, a deep rosette form and with a petal count of more than 41. Extremely fragrant, it's a strong variety with glossy dark green leaves. Grows almost upright to a height of 100-120 cm and a width of 100 cm. It is named after one of the main characters in the novel "Wuthering Heights" by Emily Brontë.
