A variety that proudly bears the name of the famous 18th century French poet, novelist and dramatist of the Romantic movement, just like this rose with its big red blooms that seems to celebrate a romantic love. The flowers are big (13 cm in diameter), with a bright cranberry-red hue, and with a turbinated classic form filled with 35 petals. Each stem bears between 1 to 5 blooms, and the plant grows to a height of 90-110 cm; blooms generously with long-lasting flowers that exhale a rose of May fragrance. The foliage is very thick with semi-matte leaves. Has achieved the Perfume Award in The Hauge. Suitable for any cultivation and use, including cut-flowers.
