Large flower, almost spherical, densely double and cup-shaped, about 13 cm in diameter, composed of around 40 petals that curl toward the center, while the outer petals curve downward; cherry-pink in color with an intense fragrance.
Vigorous, upright shrub reaching 200 cm in height and 150 cm in width; few to almost no thorns on the branches, with fine, glossy bright green foliage.
The flowers appear singly or in groups of two or three and rise above the foliage on long, upright stems. Ulrich Brunner produces excellent cut flowers, though they are sensitive to rain.
Selected by Antoine Levet (1881), it is dedicated to the Swiss hybridizer Ulrich Brunner.
