Its simple blooms have a diameter of 5-6 cm and a petal count of 5, with a bright pink colour, a small white button and yellow stamens. An extremely strong plant, it is both draught and semi-shade tolerant and can grow to a height of 400-450 cm. Selected by Van Fleet in 1902.
