Aphrodite ®

The Aphrodite is a Romantic Rose with blooms that are full (more than 41 petals), 11 cm in diameter and with an Old Rose look. Introduced by Rosen Tantau in 2006, it has an apricot colour and is slightly fragrant; it's a highly disease-resistant rose, its blooms stay open for a long time on the plant and can resist to both rain and botrytis. Grows up to 80-120 cm and its leaves are large, leathery, medium green; repeat-flowering, it's a rose suitable for cutting. It has won the Gold Medal at the Deutsche Rosenschau in Forst (Germany) 2013 and the Gold Medal at the Tollcross International Rose Trials in Glasgow 2009.
