Gabriel Oak® AUScrowd
The flower is double and rosette-shaped, nearly 10 cm in diameter, filled with deep pink petals with a lighter toned exterior; it gives off a strong fruity scent. Vigorous and bushy, it grows as a broad, rounded shrub to 125cm both in height and width. Healthy, dark green foliage; it lends itself to pot cultivation and cutting.
Introduced by David Austin Roses in 2019, it owes its name to one of the protagonists of the novel "Far from the madding crowd" written in 1874 by Thomas Hardy.
