Caroline's Heart

Old-fashioned, double-cup flowers, 7-8 cm in diameter, with 17-25 pink petals, strong scent of old rose and myrrh, good resistance to rain; when fully open the flowers reveal yellow stamens that are attractive to bees and pollinating insects; very repeat-flowering. It grows upright to 120-150 cm in height with strong, protruding stems bearing 6-20 flowers. Very good disease resistance, it has shiny dark green leaves. Selected by Lens in 2018 it has already won several awards: First prize for "Landscape Roses" and prize of "the Castell de Sant Foix Horticultural School" in Barcelona in 2018; Silver medal in Baden-Baden in 2019; Bronze medal in Warsaw in 2020. It is suitable for growing in pots and can be used for cutting. Introduced in 2018 by Lens Roses, it was the favourite rose of their employee Caroline (1971-2018) to whom it was dedicated.
