Gertrude Jeckyll ® Ausbord

Resembles the Old Roses for both its strong fragrance and the shape of the bloom, that is 10-11 cm in diameter, large, with a rosette form and spiralled petals. The colour is deep pink; it grows upright, very vigorous to a height of 100-120 cm but if properly pruned can climb to a height of 250-300 cm. Repeat-flowering and highly disease-resistant. It has been awarded by the Royal Horticultural Society with the Garden of Merit Award.
